I'm not a football fan, but I did hear that OXO are introducing a new white cube with a red cross in support of the England world cup squad ........................................................................................ it's called the laughing stock.

Not so fast Ruth. They could still win the thing. The winners usually start out rather rubbishy in the Group stages. Having said that, they may be on the plane home in 24 hours or so. My prediction before it all started was England to go out in the semi finals with Rooney being sent off again, and Argentina going on to win it. Oh, and Murray to lose in the 2nd round at Wimbledon and Lee Westwood to win the Open golf at St. Andrews. Now sit back, watch events unfold, and appreciate why it is just as well that I have never placed a bet in my life.
Oh, Ruth, you must not mock our nearest neighbours. As friend Andrew points out they might go on to win this.
