A bit of a cheat this week!
I've posted this picture of Goatfell across Brodick bay on the Island of Arran, the reason being that Arran is sometimes referred to as "Scotland in miniature" :-)
Definitely not cheating. Arran is great, and the "Scotland in miniature" label is very appropriate, with thankfully the proportions changed. What I mean is, only a few houses occupied by Buckfast swigging Neds (manfully representing most of "Greater" Glasgow, lesser Edinburgh, dingy bits of Dundee etc...), but a lovely abundance of scenery, shoreline and, best of all, seven golf courses. I must get back there soon.

I like a bit of lateral thinking. :) It may be a cheat but it's a beautiful cheat!
Oh I have always wanted to visit there. It holds some type of magic appeal to me.
It looks lovely :-)
A very clever take on the theme! Such a beautiful scene!
beautiful!
Well, I don't think it is cheating if it is called Scotland in Miniature. Besides, it is a beautiful spot. Glad you posted it!
Excellent choice Ruth. Not been to Arran for years. The last time I did I cleared out the quiz machine on the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry!
Lovely place :) It must be cold out there.

A lovely scene...and not cheating IMO. I'd love to visit.
Thanks everyone. Arran is special to me for a number of reasons :-)
If you haven't been there...you should go :-)
Scotland is as rugged as Ireland is green. Both lovely!
My miniatures are here.
