Exam results came out today.
Both my no.1 P & J and BF's daughter waiting for results (Intermediate 2s and one standard grade for him, Highers for her).
I had to go to work this morning to do interviews, but I waited with baited breath.
By 12 noon, still no news.
Home from work around 12.30pm and I find the post on the mat.......

YEAH! 5 'A's, 2 'B's and a 2 for the standard grade (equivalent to a lower A I think).
What a relief!!!
...........about an hour later a text.....
4 'A's and 1 'B' for her.
Everyone happy.
Relaxing with a G & T while the kids cook dinner :-))))))

That's all well and good, but what the hell are you doing going into work during the vacation, and reporting that you are "happy" too? This sets a dreadful precedent you know (although one I will be able to resist). The "superiors" who get the "big bucks" in return are the only ones whose shadows should fall on the place during vacation. Any more of this nonsense and I'll be talking about you to the Union. It's not dedication, it's selfishness towards others, pure and simple. Dr. Disapproving
Look at it this way, Dr Disapproving, either I go in and interview prospective students for next year and we get a class with at least a few who can tie their own shoe laces, or "you-know-who" does it and..........

I'm afraid I use a little "gentle persuasion" to get them to cook dinner. Beef goulash last night - it was delicious :-)
