Awesome phots indeed (or photos, if you prefer). We are planning a little island-hopping on a Caledonian MacBrayne "HopScotch" ticket to Islay, Jura and Colonsay, so hopefully I can get a few nice Western Isle images of my own to display soon.
Thanks guys. Andrew, I'm jealous of your planned trip. I've never been to Colonsay and would love to go. I have a vague memory of a picture of my mum standing by a large cross made of stones on a beach there. Take a picture if you see it please :-)
Ahem ... after all, I'd like - via e-mail - to ask what I use to call my question of courtesy, Ruth. :) As I did not find yours, here's mine: seanjeating {at] gmail [dot] com

Well now I will have to go on a mission to find that spot Ruth. But it's a very small island, shouldn't be too hard to find if it's still there.
Beautiful :-) It is a place I have never been.
It certainly does have its advantages that heatwave and drought seem to have dried up my garrulousness; this enables me to just write: I am lost ...
