Hi Ruth --The beach looks like it has nice sand as well. Have to say that I've been to beaches with horrible sand in the UK -- super pebbly on some of them, and more muddy than anything on at least one other! ;O
It has beautiful sand. This particular beach is at Sandwood Bay, about as far north west as you can go without falling off Scotland. There is no access for vehicles and you have to walk about 5 miles along a track to get there. I usually try to make a yearly pilgrimage for a night of wild camping in June for the total solitude it's hard to get anywhere else.
That is beautiful... and bliss.Let me grab my blanket and sit a spell.
Decided to edit my "humour"... Should probably do so more often. Is there a path or any way to approach the stack? And as I said, I may visit this place so you may wish to let me know what days to avoid so as not to disturb your peace.
I don't mind your adolescent humour Andrew ;)No path to the stack as it is always cut off by the sea.
