More Callanish

As an addition to the previous post I thought I would post a few more photos of the Callanish standing stones that we visited on our tour through the Western Isles a few weeks ago....

Although it looks deserted, there were actually quite a lot of visitors milling around and I had to position myself carefully to hide them behind stones so that they couldn't be seen in the photos!

The girlies! Friends for over 30 years, we met when we started university and we try to get together about once a year. This photo was taken a couple of years ago when one of the quintet got married.
