Summer Holiday part 1

Well, that's the first installment of summer holiday over, and a great success it was too.
We played tennis and badminton (several times and my arm still aches), snooker (and boy was I rubbish at that!!) and pool. We swam and played on flumes and river rapids (not real ones...just in the swimming pool), the kids tried paddleboarding for the first time, and we all braved the High Ropes course (I was petrified, the boys loved it).

I am lucky enough to have 2 holidays in the summer, one with the kids and one without (when they go on holiday with their Dad for a week) so I let them chose where we go (within reason of course). I think they made an excellent choice this year.

Happy kids = Happy mum.

Next stop Skye :-)

(Trying something new) Photohunt - purple

Having browsed around some other blogs, I came across Photohunt. It seems like an interesting idea so I thought I'd attempt to join in (although my photos are not going to be up to the amazing standard of some I have seen).
Very much a beginner so here's hoping it works. Maybe those who visit could give me some tips if I don't get it right?
Anyway, here's my "purple"....

Summer Holiday

First thing tomorrow morning, I'm off on holiday with the BF and my 2 cherubs.
5 days at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest should keep the kids well entertained and give us all a bit of relaxation. We've got sailing lessons, high ropes course and badminton courts booked and I'm sure we'll try out many other activities. It may not sound like relaxation to some people, but that's what works for us!

World Cup

I'm not a football fan, but I did hear that OXO are introducing a new white cube with a red cross in support of the England world cup squad ........................................................................................ it's called the laughing stock.
